AIM To introduce new users to Microsoft Project and to give a broad overview of the facilities and functions available to assist with their project planning.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Users who have a responsibility for planning projects as part of their job role.

  • Track a project to completion.

  • Creating & Formatting a Project – Using Tasks.
  • Creating and Understanding Dependency Links.
  • Outlining a Project.

  • Create & Assign Resources.

PROJECT - ADVANCED

AIM To demonstrate to users the advanced functionality of Microsoft Project, in order to assist with their project planning.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Users who have a responsibility for creating & updating project plans as part of their job role.
OBJECTIVES By the end of the course, participants will be able to ;
  • Create & maintain a project plan.
  • Create & share resource pools with other projects.
  • Produce project reports.
  • Track a project to completion.  
CONTENT During the course, delegates will cover the following topics: -
  • Identify Critical Paths.
  • Setting & Monitoring Baselines.
  • Link / Consolidate Projects.
  • Handle Task / Resource Conflicts.
  • Create & Share Resource Pools.
  • Creating / Customising Reports.
  • Working with Views.
